The Colorado House Rabbit Society in Broomfield, CO is a chapter of the National HRS. They are an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that rescues and rehabilitates homeless and abandoned rabbits. They have a waiting list of rabbits needing to come to them. This includes rabbits that were found as strays, injured rabbits, rabbits in shelters who are on “death row”, and other miscellaneous situations. They have a beautiful website with amazing photographs, detailed stories and information on the rabbits available for adoption. They also have a great gift shop with a variety of rabbity-delightful gifts and rabbit supplies. They follow a thorough process to insure that rabbits are adopted in pairs as house-rabbits, and go to good homes that can care for them properly. If you, or any good person you know needs a rabbit, please consider adopting from them first. Please visit their website and give them your support and a donation if you can.
